Market America Is Moving to Shopify: What Customers Need to Know
Market America has been telling its distributors that it plans to replace SHOP.COM and its brand stores with a new Shopify-powered platform, and nothing about it has been announced publicly yet. Here’s exactly what’s being said, why, and what still isn’t confirmed, so you know what’s real and what’s just a rumor.

Key takeaways
- Market America has been telling its distributors that SHOP.COM and its brand stores, including isotonix.com, will be replaced by a new Shopify-powered platform under marketamerica.com and country-specific sites.
- The reason given: the current setup runs a separate affiliate-link system for each country, and it has become too complex to maintain.
- The expected transition window is roughly September to November 2026, still an estimate. Every current store and link keeps working until then.
- This is described as a platform change, not a company shutdown. The products themselves are not going anywhere.
What’s being communicated
If someone told you Market America is “switching to Shopify” and you’re trying to work out whether that’s real, here’s where it’s coming from.
We’re Inspire Distribution, an active Market America distributor, and here’s what we’ve been hearing directly through the channels Market America uses to talk to its distributor network: SHOP.COM, isotonix.com and its country versions (like hk.isotonix.com), and brand storefronts such as Motives Cosmetics, Lumière de Vie, GoTrim, Layered, and ShopGlobal are expected to move to a new Shopify-built platform under marketamerica.com and country-specific sites.
We want to be clear about where this comes from. As of August 14, 2026, we’ve found no public press release or official announcement confirming any of it. What follows is what’s being communicated to distributors like us, not a company statement. If you’re not sure what SHOP.COM even is, our SHOP.COM explainer covers the basics. We’ll update this page the moment anything becomes official.
Why Market America says it’s making the switch
The reason we’ve been given is technical, not a business one. Market America runs a separate affiliate-link codebase for each country’s storefront, one for the US, one for Canada, one for Hong Kong, and so on. According to what’s being communicated to distributors, that system has become too complex to maintain.
Shopify is a major, widely used e-commerce platform, and moving to it is described as a way to run one system instead of many separate ones, country by country. That’s the entire explanation we’ve heard: a technical consolidation, not a change in what the company sells or who owns it.
The timeline, as it’s been described
The window we’ve been given is approximate: roughly September through November 2026 for the old and new systems to run side by side. During that stretch, current stores and links are expected to keep working exactly as they do now.
After that grace period, sometime after November 2026, the old domains (SHOP.COM, isotonix.com and its country versions, and the other brand sites) are expected to stop working. We’re underlining the word “expected” on purpose: we have not been given a specific cutover date, and Market America has not confirmed one publicly.
Right now, today, nothing has changed. If you use isotonix.com or shop.com, those links work exactly as they always have, and they’ll keep working through the transition described here. When the new sites go live, we’ll swap the links on this page, and across our site, to point to them.
What stays the same right now
A few things are worth saying plainly, because they’re the part that actually matters if you’re just trying to keep buying your products.
- The products aren’t changing. This is a platform move, not a discontinuation. Isotonix, Motives, and the rest of the catalog are expected to continue as they are; only the site you order from is changing. Our product catalog hub and reviews like the Isotonix OPC-3 review aren’t going anywhere either.
- Ordering itself hasn’t changed: same checkout, same payment options, same shipping. Nothing about how you place an order today is different.
- Current links and stores keep working during the grace period described above. If you’ve bookmarked a regional link, like the ones in our guide to buying Isotonix in Canada, it’s still good.
- You don’t need to do anything right now. There’s no action required on your end today.
- HK and TW customers: this page is also available in Chinese, covering the same information for the hk.isotonix.com and tw.isotonix.com storefronts specifically.
What’s still unconfirmed
We’d rather tell you plainly what’s missing than guess. A few real questions don’t have confirmed answers yet.
- The exact new domain names for each country. A marketamerica.com plus country-specific pattern has come up, but it isn’t locked in.
- The exact cutover date. The only guidance so far is “after November 2026,” not a specific day or week.
- Whether your account, order history, autoship subscriptions, or cashback balance will carry over automatically to the new platform. If you use autoship, our autoship and account FAQ tracks this question specifically.
- Whether current coupon codes will still work once the new platform is live.
We won’t guess at any of these, and we won’t speculate about the company’s reasons beyond what it told us. To answer the question people actually ask: nothing we’ve seen describes a company in trouble. This is a platform migration, and the products and company are expected to continue. We’ll update every line above the moment it’s confirmed.
What we’ll do here
We’re treating this page as the main record of the transition: we’ll update it as soon as Market America confirms any detail publicly, and note when each update happens.
If you mainly landed here worried that SHOP.COM itself is shutting down for good, our page on whether SHOP.COM is shutting down answers that directly. And if you just want a plain, region-by-region list of where to buy Isotonix today, see where to buy Isotonix right now.
